Janice Felty's concert, oratorio and chamber music repertoire is large and not only includes standard works by Bach, Britten, Copland, Handel, Haydn, Mahler, Mendelssohn, Mozart, Schoenberg, Schubert, Stravinsky, Tchaikovsky, Vaughan Williams and Vivaldi but an important number of first performances of contemporary composers including Arrigo, Christopher Berg, Gerard Grisey, John Harbison, John A. Lennon, Michael Moore, Nicholas Thorne and Ellen Taffe Zwilich.

She has performed with such orchestras as the L.A. Philharmonic and its New Music Group, the Seattle Symphony, the Brooklyn Symphony, Pittsburgh Symphony National Symphony New Mexico Symphony, and with such organizations as Boston Musica Viva, Collage, the Handel and Haydn Society, the Louisville Bach Society, the Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble, the Oregon Festival of American Music among many others.
